Phase 1 of Oxford North Opens

The first phase of Oxford North, a 30-hectacres, £1.2bn innovation district, has officially opened

Oxford North’s Phase 1 includes two purpose-built laboratory buildings with units ranging from 2,000 sq ft to 56,000 sq ft (including 13,500 sq ft ready for fit-out in December). Phase 1a also includes the eye-catching Red Hall. The hall sees 33,000 sq ft office space across four floors, complete with an 80-seat café and a 100-seat theatre for events and collaboration. Newly opened are also beautifully landscaped public realm, a timber cycle pavilion and Olafur Eliasson’s Your Planetary Assembly, the artist’s first permanent UK artwork.
