Jeremy, co-founder and Managing Director of Real PM, has an enviable track record in the fields of property development and construction and is noted for his astute project management skills and business acumen. He is very well respected for having a cool head and for being a shrewd negotiator. He is admired by clients for his close attention to detail whilst retaining the bigger commercial picture.

 

Jeremy’s early years with Laing, both in the UK and internationally, followed by an extensive period as a Director of Mace Ltd, has provided the depth and breadth to perform and succeed at the highest level. He has been running the consultancy jointly with Geraint from its conception.

Geraint Roberts

Geraint is recognised as a leading practitioner in the field of project phasing, planning and construction logistics. An early career path in site production planning and control provided him with excellent technical expertise whilst complex major projects have demonstrated Geraint’s capacity for successfully solving complicated programme problems to the delight of clients and other project stakeholders.

 

He has considerable experience in both the UK and international markets creating a wealth of knowledge to call upon when analysing the complexities of a scheme. Additionally, Geraint has key skills in heavy civil engineering and migration planning.

Steve White

Steve is an Associate Director with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Steve works predominantly as a Senior Planning Manager at Real PM but can also operate as a Senior Project Manager as well as a Contract Administrator and Employers Agent on projects, if required. He is known for his solid, rational approach and thorough understanding of construction processes as well as for establishing excellent working relationships with our clients.

 

During his extensive career, Steve has worked within multi-disciplinary design teams, main contracting and consultancy organisations in various roles which have provided him with excellent skills through all phases of construction projects.

Nathan Bryant

Nathan is an Associate Director and an experienced Project Manager with over 30+ years in the industry. He is well-liked and respected for his honest, upfront and direct approach to problem-solving alongside his broad knowledge of construction processes and techniques. He is used to managing complicated refurbishment schemes that incorporate phasing of works around live office environments. He also leads Real PM’s in-house resource in the production of Construction (& Environmental) Management Plans.

 

This diverse experience base allows Nathan to interpret the specific requirements of both small and large-scale projects thus ensuring their successful implementation and delivery for clients and stakeholders alike.

Philip is a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with over 20 years’ experience, gained by providing a range of development/project management services within the construction and property industry Phil utilises a wide range of skills, personal attributes and management expertise to achieve effective and successful results to any given situation or task. He is always ‘hands-on’ when it comes to managing projects and his broad experiences of all sectors / disciplines help him pre-empt problems. He retains an ability to work in both the detail and at strategic level top the clients benefit. Phil is an excellent Employers Agent / Representative and Contract Administrator.

Barry Fowler

Barry has worked on multiple major projects including station developments,
landmark city towers, schools, and galleries. His varied experience has also seen
him excel in Employers Representative roles on commercial office new builds and
leading high-performing commercial teams on major infrastructure projects.

Martin Clark

Martin joined Real PM in 2021 to strengthen its front-end service offering to clients and brought with him over 34 years of main and specialist contractor experience. Martin offers a unique and invaluable knowledge base due to his 19 years as Planning and Proposals Director for specialist contractor Keltbray, wherein he delivered some of the capital’s most iconic projects.

 

Throughout his career, Martin has gained an impressive catalogue of experience across a wide range of market and construction sectors. This undeniable wealth of experience enables him to expertly provide clients with planning and logistics solutions through all stages of the construction process at both strategic and detailed levels.

Emma White

Emma is a Senior Planner / Programme Manager who is known for her solid, rational approach and thorough understanding of construction processes with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. Emma has spent the majority of her career working for national contractors and has acquired a wealth of experience that forms the basis for all the programming / phasing / logistical studies and monitoring that she undertakes currently. She has worked exclusively in the London market and as such has excellent experience to draw on when working on schemes in the City. Emma joined Real PM in 2010 and has made the transition to consultancy very easily and is a valued team member. She has worked on several schemes where her in- depth construction knowledge has been invaluable to our Clients. She is innovative, methodical and logical in her approach to planning major projects.

Simon Lawson

Throughout his career, Andrew has gained a considerable depth of knowledge through working on a wide variety of projects and contract forms. Resultantly, he has a keen ability to conceptualise and sequence methodologies, logistics and project timings from inception through completion and claims analysis.

 

As a hands-on, proactive planner, Andrew likes to involve himself in the identification and solving of on-site issues. Andrew’s experience, coupled with his unique approach, brings him to the forefront of his field.

Andrew joined Real PM in 2023 to enhance the Project Management offering. With over 30 years experience in contracting, consultant Project Management and front-end client management roles. Since 1994 Andrew has worked for leading project management consultants, Mace, APS, Second London Wall and now Real PM. He has also worked client side with Fidelity, LDA, UPP and Landsecurities.

 

Throughout his career Andrew has gained a unique insight into development projects having worked not just in commercial development but also on PFI projects and in the public sector. He enjoys managing schemes from inception through to completion and beyond. Having developed some 2.5 million feet of office space, delivered 500 plus residential apartments and well in excess of 12000 student.

Meanwhile his role at Real PM has enabled him to use his wealth of knowledge and technical expertise when providing programme advice to Clients on major flagship office developments in the construction phase and preparing strategic programmes for schemes at ffeasibility and concept stage.

Ron Urquhart

Ron has gained unparalleled experience from 35 years with Aberdeen Standard Investments. During his career his role has encompassed everything from the acquisition, asset management, development management, letting and disposal of commercial real estate developments, ranging from central London office schemes to town centre retail projects. Ron also has extensive experience in both pre-let and speculative Development Funding Agreements.
The projects Ron has managed have been wide ranging, in both scale and complexity, requiring a sensitive and flexible approach to their execution with the aim of adding value. Development strategies to meet defined parameters of cost, quality and programme are constantly assessed in order maximise value for tenants and clients. Any development management role requires the establishment of effective working relationship with consultants, co-developers and contractors alike.
In doing this, Ron has earned respect with many individual professional consultants in the sector. This extensive network allows access to a broad spectrum of specialists ensuring the selection of advisor teams that optimise and repeat the successful execution of projects.

Matt’s background in Quantity Surveying further provides him with an astute level of commercial awareness, meanwhile, his management and leadership skills make him a desired asset to clients and project teams alike.

Raman Sharma

Raman is an experienced Project Manager and CA/Employer’s Agent with 14 years’ of
demonstrated experience and working history in the construction industry in London
and the wider UK.

 

Raman project managed the award winning and complex Borough Yards development
during the pandemic, which won the Best Urban Project award in Europe 2022 at MPIM
amongst a host of other awards. He has worked on a variety of projects including
complex mixed use, high-end residential and education projects. Raman is a member
of the Association of Project Management, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a
CEDR qualified Mediator and holds an RICS Certificate of Adjudication.

Chris Burns

Chris is a Chartered Construction Manager and member of the CIOB and holds a relevant degree and master’s degree qualifications. He currently has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. He’s been part of the Real PM team since 2014 and has been engaged in high-end commercial office schemes and retail schemes in central London. He also has experience delivering bespoke high-end residential projects.

Chris started his career on construction sites as a trainee site manager. His years in the industry have taken him from management within contractors, forward to client-side project management. His background in delivering construction projects at a site level is a key attribute in administering contracts.
These skills allow him to maintain a collaborative style with contractors and consultants, understanding the process and issues that all parties face.
Experience managing the design interfaces of projects and their delivery on site affords him a ‘nuts-and-bolts’ approach to problem-solving. On-site management experience allows him to have a detailed understanding of the logistical challenges and the command and control procedures necessary to deliver a successful construction project

Georgie Motchman

Georgie holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham. Having started her career as an assistant site manager, she transitioned into project management, then specialising in technical management for a national developer; this experience – complemented by the degree – gives her a wide appreciation for contractor activities, constraints and challenges.

 

Georgie has worked across multiple projects, including mixed-use schemes, residential, education and retail. At present, she is also progressing towards her CIOB membership.
