Project Description

14-acre masterplan, the historic West London venue is set to become a key cultural destination in London with an estimated 15 million visitors annually. Real PM is involved in the majority of the 14-acre development, including:

The largest new permanent London theatre since the completion of the National Theatre in 1976, almost 50 years ago.. Trafalgar Entertainment have a 70-year lease to operate the new-build 1,575-seat theatre.

Wetherby Pembridge is a new co-educational performing arts school for students aged 11-18. The school will be operated by Alpha Plus Group with a BRIT Kids partnership. The state-of-the-art facilities include a professional-standard theatre, dance and music studios, modern science laboratories, AI and VR resources.

One Olympia will feature 550,000 sq ft of office space that will host the largest roof terraces in West London and a platinum award-winning cycle and wellness hub. It will also feature a communal lounge and 23,000 sq ft of conferencing space. The building as a whole is targeting WELL Platinum, BREAAM Excellent and an EPC Rating of A.

The newly formed Premier League Productions have leased 73,000 sq ft of the commercial space meanwhile, IWG flexible workspace provider, has also already committed to over 70,000 sq ft of One Olympia’s office space.

Over 2.5 acres of pedestrianised streets and public realm have been designed into the Olympia masterplan, meaning that for the first time in 140 years, it will be open to the public. Events will run throughout the year to further enhance Olympia’s offering as a cultural destination and set the standard for openness and community involvement. Additionally, 100,000 sq ft bars, cafes and restaurants will be on offer to the public.

Real PM’s Role 

Real PM are providing Programme Management Consulting services on all parts of the Olympia development mentioned above. This includes:

  • Monthly on-site progress monitoring of the masterplan, plus the fit-out of the CAT A commercial space
  • Programme support

We are also providing Project Management services via secondment to the Client team on additional works on the Olympia development.
