Real PM Hosts Bake Sale for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This morning the Real PM team put together a bake sale in honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer Awareness month is such an important and worthy cause, and what a delicious coincidence that it allowed us to eat 6 pieces of cake before 11am…or maybe that was just me (Sabrina Clark)!

We decided this year, rather than just wearing pink for Pinktober, we would lend our baking hands to some fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. The team came together and put on an incredible spread of baked goods and had a good ol’ fashioned coffee morning. Even if it was revealed that most of the cakes had been made by the team’s better halves, it was still an incredible effort from the Real PM team as i’m sure that took some convincing!!!

Macmillan Nurses are sure to have touched the lives of most of us and whilst the circumstances are often trying, Macmillan always strive to do what they can to comfort those who need it, and for that we’re eternally grateful. It was an honour to do our part and fundraise what we could, and we’re proud that Real PM agreed to match everyone’s donations too.

It’s an incredibly important cause so we think this will definitely become an annual tradition, not least because the cakes were really bloomin’ delicious!!!
