Swan centre leatherhead

Project Description

Real PM is working with Kier Property on their extensive plans for the Swan Centre in Leatherhead. The project will see the partial demolition of the existing Swan Centre. The planning for this development is ongoing, but as of March 2025 the revised proposals were described by the Joint Venture Partnership as follows:

‘The proposals for the Swan Centre aim to breathe new life into the Swan Centre and Leatherhead High Street. This will be through investment in upgrades to the look and feel of the centre. We are also proposing to open up the main entrance to provide specific units to bring exciting and quality chains and independent restaurants and operators to Leatherhead.

In addition, at first floor on the existing shopping centre service deck, a new cultural building will be built to potentially include a cinema/bowling/activity centre to provide a great new entertainment offering in the town centre.’

Real PM’s Role 

Real PM has been engaged by Kier to provide programme, buildability and logistics advice. Real PM are producing Construction Management Plans to support the planning application for the redevelopment of the Swan Centre.
