It’s All About Lunch

Lunch-time walks and a new dedicated lunch space in the office. This week has been a banner week for the Wellbeing Committee

Our Wellbeing Committee is on a roll!

We kicked off the week with another lunchtime team walk, getting outside for some fresh air, a mental reset and as much green space as we could find in Coal Drops Yard. It’s amazing how a short break in nature can boost energy and spark great conversations plus after 10+ years of Real PM’s office being located in Kings Cross we’re still somehow discovering areas we’ve never been to. We can’t quite call it a safari–like-adventure but it’s an adventure of its own.

Back at the office, the Wellbeing Committee and Admin Team have been busy creating a brand-new lunch and breakout space. Within our existing office, with some tetris-like re-organising of desks, we were able to create a space that has it all; a round table for shared meals and team bonding; chill-out zones with armchairs for a proper hour’s break; and even a mini library where you can borrow books from the team’s collection. Complete with windows for natural light and fresh air, the space lends an aura of calm to an otherwise busy area (the office but also the chaos of Kings Cross just outside the windows!).

Thanks to the Wellbeing Committee for all your hard work and to Sabrina Clark, Marketing Manager, for putting your Ikea hat on and building the furniture on a quiet Friday in the office. We can see you couldn’t resist adding a French flair to the lunch space, but we agree…”Bon Appétit” to all the delicious lunches the space is going to see!
